Colorado State lost its fifth straight game, falling to Arkansas-Little Rock 4-3 Saturday in the first of two meetings between the teams.
It’s the third time this season Colorado State has dropped four straight games in the series.
The Rams, who are 11-13 overall and 7-8 in the Arkansas-Lafayette series, had been 0-8 since the start of January.
Colorado State won the last meeting, 3-1, on Jan. 19.
In the second period, freshman forward Travis Fisher had two assists and three digs in his last collegiate start.
The senior also scored two goals and grabbed three rebounds.
The Razorbacks (13-16, 10-10 Big 12) will try to make a run to a bowl game for the first time since 2012.
Arkansas State is 5-6 since the end of January and 10-9 since joining the Big 12 in 2019.
The series between the two schools dates back to 1993 when Colorado State defeated Arkansas-Pine Bluff in the NCAA tournament.
