Florida State also lost linebacker Derrick Malone and offensive tackle Andrew Grier to season-ending injuries.
Texas A-M also lost running back Derrick Henry and cornerback Jourdan Lewis to season ending injuries.
The Aggies are 0-3 after losing at Kansas State on Saturday.
Texas is 4-0 with a win in its last four games.
Florida’s defense forced five turnovers, including one by defensive end Corey Smith, the game-winning interception.
The win also gave Florida State a first-ever shutout.
Florida has won two straight and two of its last three against Texas AM.
Florida leads the all-time series, 12-7, but the Aggie lead has been at 17-6 since 2005.
The teams have split five meetings, with the Seminoles winning four of the past six meetings.
Texas and Florida have played in the same stadium in their previous seven games.
The schools have played 14 times in their first 11 seasons, with Texas winning two of those games.
